The hour gave him enough time to properly gather his own thoughts and figure out how to convey them. That said, he also full well knows conversations with Lloyd can very easily veer off course and has prepared for this as well as he could.
Once in front of Lloyd's door, Kratos pauses momentarily before finally knocking.]
[Waiting hadn't been easy for Lloyd. This place is still too strange for him to know of a way to kill time that wouldn't make him miss Kratos' arrival. So he gets to the door very quickly if only because life is finally interesting again.
It's not just that, though. He's really glad to see Kratos again. Lloyd grins as he opens the door.]

[He's not used to doing this; people just walk in and out of places all the time where he's from, right?]
[Seeing Lloyd again always brings out too many emotions for Kratos' own liking, especially given everything. On the one hand, he's happy to see his son; on the other hand, his son should hate his guts and not be this welcoming. Kindness is the absolute last thing Kratos deserves.
Even if part of him really is happy to be greeted like this.
Those thoughts get pushed to the side as Lloyd beckons him inside and so he does. As he walks in, he also finally speaks up.]

[The smallest hint of awkwardness is present in that. No only is he bad with small talk, but it's still odd to simply chat with Lloyd. Not bad, just odd.]
[It's weird for Lloyd, too. At no point in his memories with Kratos does he remember just talking with him like any other guy in town about regular stuff. ...If you call being pulled into a bottle and waking up in a pirate world regular.]
Okay, I guess? I'm not really sure what I should be doing. It's not like back home where it's really easy to spot a problem or something.
They do have a quest board of sorts available here called the Manta Board. Perhaps looking at that can give you ideas about how to go about spending your time.
[The amount of quests available is fairly decent, so Lloyd may find something that suits him. Whether or not the quest will keep his interest, however, is the real question.]

Them discussing time discrepancies will make that reveal seem believable as opposed to making Kratos seem insane at least.]
